Kronosaurus, Museum of Comparative Zoology, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA

Kronosaurus was a pliosaur (short-necked plesiosaur) and the largest of its group. This skeleton, 42 feet long and the most complete now known, was discovered embedded in massive blocks of Cretaceous age limestone (135 million years old) in Queensland, Australia.
